Four people were rescued near Key Largo after their boat capsized on Saturday.
A good Samaritan rescued three people from the 23-foot vessel, but the captain stayed with the overturned boat.
The U.S. Coast Guard eventually pulled the boat’s captain from the sea.
The four passengers were safely taken to shore at John Pennekamp State Park.
The capsized boat has also been recovered.
The Coast Guard has reminded mariners to wear life jackets.
